Food-grade and non-food liquid transport
Every liquid product—whether food-grade or non-food—requires different treatment and management. For this reason, Pellegrini Trasporti S.r.l. has equipped itself to guarantee the most suitable tanks for every type of cargo. Each cistern is equipped with specific systems for loading and unloading the material.
Features of our tanks
Structure
They are constructed from steel, with linings designed in terms of materials and thickness to ensure proper insulation and maintain the correct temperature for food transport.
Regulations
All tanks are ADR-compliant (the European agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road), meaning they meet the standards for transporting food-grade and non-flammable liquids such as alcohol or spirits.
Pressure
These containers have an operating pressure of at least 2.67 bar to ensure the ideal management of products requiring pressurized transport, such as beer and sparkling wines, keeping their characteristics unchanged.
Gas Line
For services performed under pressure, they are equipped with a gas line to allow for flushing and/or filling the cistern with specific products (CO2 and nitrogen) designed to preserve the cargo before loading and during transport.
Separate Compartments
When necessary, they feature separate compartments for loading different types of liquids.
Heating and Cooling
They are also equipped with heating and/or cooling systems that can be used during transit to maintain the product at the required temperature.
Sample Analysis
They are equipped with samplers to perform the necessary cargo analysis without the risk of spillage or contamination.
Certifications
They hold the necessary certifications for rail transport, ensuring compliance with the regulations required by rail operators and avoiding penalties.
Accessories and Hoses
They are equipped with the valves, fittings, connections, and hoses necessary to perform loading and unloading operations efficiently.
Geolocation
They are also equipped with geolocation, temperature, and pressure detection systems to provide detailed and constant monitoring of the cargo.
Dimensions and Capacity
They come in various capacities to offer the best possible payload based on the type of product being loaded or unloaded.
